In 2007, three friends got together at a sports camp in Ramsau, Austria: the then physiotherapist of the Estonian ski team Lauri Rannama, skier Timo Simonlatser and skier-physiotherapist Peeter Kümmel. "Lauri approached the two of us and told us that he had noticed exciting things like massage chairs at the Ski World Cup in Sapporo, Japan," says Timo.
Lauri described to his friends how he had been to a hardware store in Sapporo and had been impressed by the dozens of massage chairs he had seen and tried. "They were something completely different that none of us in Estonia or anywhere else in Europe had tried before. Lauri put forward the arguments: that a massage chair is just an interesting machine, but also, for example, time-saving; and then came up with the idea that we could test them in Estonia," recalls Timo.

Both the manufacturer and a handful of interested parties were found - and the first order was placed so quickly that the company itself had not even been completed at that point. Three or four different models arrived in a large sea container, including chairs designed to work with coins on public surfaces. "The same massage chairs that came to us in the first container are still in operation today and show no signs of fatigue. And this after ten years in the public domain!" timo is delighted
